Held on Monday May 27th 2013 at the Sports Hall Ground.
The Parish Council held their third Village Fete on Bank Holiday Monday May 27th at the Sports Hall. The weather was kind to us this year, dry and warm all day. The Fete was opened by the Rev Nick Cutler. The Morris Men from Haughley got us on our way with their first dance of the afternoon.
The Fete was well supported by the people of the village. The Mouse Lane Ladies once again provided us with tea and homemade cakes in the hall. The Punch and Judy show was a favourite with all the children from 3 to 83.
The Bennet Arms provided the Beer Tent and BBQ again this year, which was very well supported. John Bird entertained us with his mix of music. James Samuel the street Magician made us marvel at his magic tricks.
The Acorns organised races for the children. There were several charity stalls, and various competitions. This year we held a Grand Draw which raised £110.00. The East Anglian Air Ambulance was our named charity on the day. For which we raised £313.43 for this worthy cause.

The next Fete will be Saturday May 24th 2014.
